A complete walkthrough of the GrabGo Rider App — accepting dispatches, GPS navigation, order pickup, and customer delivery verification.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Toggle "Online" Status
Open the Rider app and slide to Go Online. The automated dispatch engine will begin matching you with orders from nearby stores.
Receive & Accept Dispatch Offer
When an order is assigned, review the pickup restaurant, dropoff area, estimated distance, and guaranteed fare. Tap "Accept" within the 30-second countdown.
Navigate to Store & Pick Up
Use turn-by-turn navigation to reach the merchant. Verify the Order ID on the receipt, confirm the tamper-evident seal is intact, and swipe "Confirm Pickup".
Transit to Customer & Complete Handover
Navigate to the customer’s address. Call or message using in-app buttons upon arrival, hand over the package, enter the 4-digit PIN if required, and swipe "Complete Delivery".
Best Practices for Higher Acceptance & Tips
Riders maintaining top service quality receive priority dispatch for lucrative peak-time batches and campus errands:
Hygienic Package Handling
Secure liquid containers, soups, and fragile boxes vertically inside the insulated backpack dividers.
Courteous Communication
Use the in-app WebRTC call feature to clarify building or hostel gate directions politely.
Position in High-Demand Clusters
Position yourself near busy food clusters (e.g., UCC New Site, East Legon) during lunch (11:30 AM–2:00 PM) and dinner (6:00 PM–9:00 PM).
