SMS delays can occur due to mobile carrier network congestion in Ghana. Follow these troubleshooting steps to quickly verify your phone number.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1

Check Number Format

Ensure your phone number is entered in the standard 10-digit Ghanaian format (e.g., 024XXXXXXX, 050XXXXXXX, 027XXXXXXX) or international format (+23324XXXXXXX).

2

Wait 60 Seconds & Request Resend

Avoid rapid multiple taps. Wait for the 60-second countdown timer to expire, then tap "Resend Code via SMS".

3

Check Do-Not-Disturb (DND) & SMS Spam Filter

Verify that your SIM profile is not blocking transactional SMS shortcodes. On MTN, check *175# to ensure your SIM allows service notifications.

4

Toggle Airplane Mode or Restart Phone

Toggling Airplane Mode for 10 seconds forces your device to reconnect to the nearest mobile cell tower and clears queued SMS messages.

Still Not Receiving Codes?

If your cellular carrier is experiencing extended SMS queue outages, contact GrabGo Support at hello@grabgogh.com or call (+233) 536 997 662 with your registered phone number for direct manual verification.

Account Security Tip: Never share your 6-digit SMS OTP verification code with anyone, including individuals claiming to represent GrabGo support.
